Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.  Romans 15:7

Are You New to Greenfield?

At Greenfield Presbyterian Church, you can expect a warm welcome, a dynamic service, and invitations to spiritually-energizing activities, all expressing God’s aliveness and love. Greenfield has been grounded in the Berkley community for over a half century, serving as a spiritual home for generations of individuals from all walks of life.

Every Sunday, you are invited to gather together to worship God through song, sharing, preaching and prayer.

What To Expect

We are more concerned with the heart than with outward appearance, so dress however you feel comfortable. On any given Sunday, you’ll see people in blue jeans, dresses, suits, Hawaiian shirts, soccer uniforms, and so much more!

There are two parking lots adjacent to the building, but many people park in the surrounding neighborhood. Limited handicapped parking spaces are available in both lots.

There is a south entrance and an east entrance. Our building is fully accessible to those challenged with mobility issues; the elevator is closest to the East entrance to the building. We are a no-smoking facility and handicapped accessible.

Worship For All Ages

We follow the order of worship in the bulletin and on large screens making it easy to follow along. The service lasts about an hour. Guests are welcome to support the mission of Greenfield, but are by no means expected to give. The sanctuary is equipped with amplification for those with difficulty hearing; just ask an usher to assist you.

Holy Communion is served every Sunday at the 9:00 a.m. service (in the round) and the first Sunday of the month at the 11:00 a.m. service. Communion is open to anyone who professes Jesus’ unfailing love. Non-alcoholic grape juice and gluten-free bread cubes are served.

There is a nursery available for birth through age two. At the 11:00 a.m. service, preschool through elementary age kids begin in the sanctuary with their families and encouraged to come forward for a children’s message with the Pastor. From there, they are dismissed for Bible-based education. Children re-enter the sanctuary to participate in communion with their families.

After each service, beverages and snacks are served downstairs in Fellowship Hall. Please stay- we would like to get to know you!

New or Nearly New Class

Those interested in finding out more about Greenfield are invited to join our New or Nearly New Class that meets 1 Saturday a month. This gives anyone interested in joining our church some additional information about the church philosophies, beliefs and how we are a church that is very inclusive of all people.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.” Matthew 19:14

We are a diverse church,

inclusive of all.
