We have an envelope on the bulletin board to collect the Boxtops for Education found on a variety of products. Each of these box tops is worth 10¢ to your local schools. Save them for your children, the neighbors’ kids, or bring them to the church…just don’t throw them out! Participating companies are General Mills, Chex, Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Progresso, Old El Paso…

Help soldiers overseas call home for free. Cell Phones for Soldiers collects old cell phones and mails them to Recellular in exchange for pre-paid calling cards. The hope is to collect enough old cell phones to earn more than 12 million minutes for U.S. troops stationed overseas in 2008.

A bin for recycling greeting cards is in the storeroom by the elevator. Please bring your cards so we can take them to the Keith Bovenschen School for children with disabilities. Remember they can use the whole card.

Greenfield Presbyterian Church continues to collect UPC's (not labels) and certificates. Please look for the special certificates and offers in the newspapers that earn extra points for the program. UPC’s may be put in the collection bin in Fellowship Hall. Go to www.labelsforeducation.com for a complete list of participating companies and products.

Greenfield kids are continuing to save and donate returnable containers to support Children’s Missions. In 2006-07 and 2007-08 Greenfield kids saved enough cans that, along with a generous donation from Bill and Gladys Davenport, a heifer from Heifer Project International was purchased for $500!

The deacons are now able to bring communion to members not able to attend church. This communion will follow the regular communion services held at Greenfield. If you or someone you know would like to have this done, please let any deacon know and we will be happy to arrange it.
