Sunday, May 20, 2012, 9:30 am at Cana Lutheran

The account of Jesus feeding the five thousand is the only miracle, apart from the resurrection, that is reported in all four gospels. Celebrate Pentecost, Wear Red! PDF Print E-mail

Dove_and_flamesSunday, June 3, we will celebrate Pentecost. Originally a Jewish Harvest Festival, for Christians Pentecost celebrates the birthday of the church. On that day in Jerusalem the disciples were gathered together when the Holy Spirit came upon them. They were transformed from fearful followers into bold apostles, who went about proclaiming Jesus’ resurrection and risking their lives for the Gospel. Symbolizing the Holy Spirit, we wear red on that Sunday!

Greenfield Annual Talent Show and Ice Cream Social PDF Print E-mail

talent-show_balanceGET YOUR GROOVE READY! Sunday evening, June 24 at 6:00 pm, Greenfield will be hosting our annual talent show and ice cream social, a time to get together and enjoy our member's talents.

You say, "What could I do?" Well, you may have memorized a portion of Scripture, you may know all the Kentucky Derby winners, you may be a good joke teller, or you may have a skit you would like to put on, or maybe just a song you would like to sing. Whatever your talent, come and share it that night.

If you are interested in displaying your talents please talk with John Youngerman or Dianne Cragg. A sign up sheet for performers and home made goodies will be downstairs on the bulletin board.
